A weekend of cleaning and organizing the art studio

I spent most of Friday evening clearing out (throwing away) the junk left in the studio from my son's room that he did not want anymore. Then on Sunday I began organizing what was left in there which by then was all my own stuff. I rearranged it and like it alot better. I can feel the creative juices flowing when I step in there now.
When I took over this bedroom a few years ago, my hubby built these built in shelves for me. I really like them and it did not take me long to fill them up. I love to read if you could not tell.
Here above are the shelves at the sewing area. I finally went thur my fabric stash last night and organized what little I had by color.
Here is my old chair and stash of yarn around it. Looks a little crowded but I like it.
I also washed up the reds and white fabric that I want to make a quilt from. I just need to find a pattern and begin. They are ready to go now, but I am still stumped on what to make of it.

I got my ravelry invite Friday afternoon, but haven't started to use the notebook section of same yet. I only got one completed project posted over there and that is the granny square blanket. At least now I will know where all my stuff is so I can add it in over there. I am just exploreing and getting a feel for the site. I have a feeling it is going to suck me right in though, in a good way of course.

On one hand I admire your organization skills. On the other hand, the organization is giving me the hives intimidating me.
