My own sweater

I got this sucker finished earlier this week, and it fits perfect!! Love love love it. We are going camping this weekend down in Arkansas so I want to do a photo shoot with it. It is going to cold and rainy down there so it will be perfect to wear. I was afraid that when I finished this it would be too warm. It is not here in Kansas City.

Last snow fall of the year??

Hopefully it will be. Here is what I found outside my kitchen window this morning. Our resident squirel eating sunflower seeds at his home made picnic table made by my husband a few years ago. I think we got around 4-5 inches of snow today. It is supposed to warm up to near the 70's by the end of the coming week, hard to believe when you see this snow.
I will miss winter because I always knit more at this time of year, it is a great excuse for staying on the couch, watching movies and knitting. But I look so forward to spring, as I love to be outside in the warmer weather soaking up the sunshine and all the freshness that season brings to us.

We changed it out!

And we are so much happier with it now. It really was not that much work since we had not grouted yet, yippee! I can live with this and like it now. Today we grout, ugh, that is a messy job, so no knitting today on my end. Maybe I can get some in tonight when the Oscars air.
